Testimonials

Just thought I would share these pictures with you.  Last weekend a drunk driver didn't realize that our home was at the end of a dead end road and slammed into our one year old 440 Fence.  The post for the latch side of the gate took the full impact.  With your connections, the fence rails were able to twist with the impact and damage was minimal.

If this was a welded fence, the impact would of collapsed several sections, and the repair work would have been way more extensive.  This "quick fix" is a testimony to the quality of the 440 fence.  If it was any other fence I would have spent several days repairing it.

Glad to be a 440 fence owner,

Rob Johnson - Southlake, TX

I wanted to send pictures to show how well my fence survived Hurricane Rita in Beaumont, TX. My four-rail fence was to be completed the day Hurricane Rita came ashore. The western eyewall of the storm passed directly over our area with sustained winds clocked at 105 to 115 mph. There is evidence of significant tornadic damage on our property as evidenced by several twisted and uprooted trees. Several of the trees landed directly on the fence as seen in the photos. The fence sustained minimal damage to only the sections taking direct hits from the fallen trees!

Practically every fence in Southeast Texas was severely damaged or destroyed by the sustained winds. Every wooden or PVC rail fence in this area was either leveled or leaning and needed replacement or major repairs. Many cedar post and wire fences were leaning as well. My fence remained upright, level, and as good as new! This product withstood the third strongest Atlantic storm in recorded history! This should speak for itself!

Just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying the 440 Fence. But, the best part about our "new" fence is that it survived Hurricane Ivan's 150+ miles per hour winds. The center of the eye went across and just to the right of our property, so that the fence got the winds from both directions. The Fence faired much better than the roof of our house, barn and other buildings. We wish they could make a roof as strong as this fence.

“Our fence has been up over a year here, it still looks as good as the day we put it up. My wife and two boys put the fence up in a day. The wife and kids did most of the work while I was still recovering from a broken ankle. I believe the fence design is one of the best idea's to come along. We are very happy customers from Waxahachie, TX”

“It was time to replace my old wood rail fence and I wanted a fence that required little or no maintenance. So when we saw 440 Fence it satisfied all our needs.  With the zinc and powder-coat finish there is no maintenance. I am 70 years old and my wife is 68 and the two of us installed about a quarter of a mile of fence. We have had many people stop and comment on the fence. It has definitely raised the value of our acreage.”

"440 fence is the best dual purpose fence (looks great and keeps my Shorthorns in) I've ever seen or used. It's also great to entertain the great-grand kids."

“Where to start! After searching for interesting fence designs on the Internet I stumbled across 440 Fence, one of my most beneficial stumbles in a long time. The company was very helpful in assisting with the design that worked best for our soil type and terrain, including vertical pole spacing, number of rails and the depth to set the vertical poles. The one-half mile of fence was installed adjoining a curving farm road with undulating terrain and it looks terrific, so much so my neighbor just tacked onto our fence and kept going.

"We moved to our acreage 9 years ago, and a wooden round pen and paddock were already in place. Nine years ago they looked bad, but after several tough winters and some horses with attitudes, it had taken all it could. Posts were rotted out and twine held many of the rails in place. Pathetic would be an understatement. I began researching new fencing in January, and in February I found 440 fence company on the internet. Having been a steel buyer for my company, I knew the value of buying something sturdy, durable, and attractive. 440 definitely caught my eye, and when I saw that no welding was required and that installation was relatively simple, not to mention how gorgeous it is, I was thrilled. I called 440 for a quote and the rest, as they say, is history. I invited a few neighbors and relatives to spend a weekend helping put in the new fence and they were just as impressed with the ease of installation as I was. Some were even a little jealous.

“My 440 Fence is fantastic! It is beautiful, strong, and maintenance free. I priced many different fencing systems and 440 fence provided what I really wanted: top of the line materials, a professional look, and something I will never have to worry about with horses or cows. I love my fence.”

"As a stocking dealer of all types of steel and wood fencing systems, and being a custom fence contractor, we see the value of the 440 Product in several lights: For those clients who like a beautiful fence, Vinyl has proven to NOT be the answer, and standard painting on metal or wood is not a satisfactory option....therefore, the 440 product is a natural option with the coating system 440 provides.. We believe it is by far the best option. Couple that with the ease of installation, and the adaptability to changes in terrain, and it makes the decision for you. Home owners can install the fence if they choose, and contractors expense to install the 440 product is reduced compared to standard fence systems. Our motto is,' Build it once...with steel.'.. This is a nice product."

"After purchasing our horse farm in coastal northern California last year, I was faced with the placement of several thousand feet of five rail fencing. I chose the 440 product because of the minimal maintainence required, its strength, durability and esthetics. The fencing looks as good as it functions, and is used in our stalls, riding arenas and pastures. I couldn't be more pleased, and I'm ordering more. It's the best that I've ever found."

“I bought the 440 fence system, the fence went up so easy that the wife and I installed it up ourselves.  When I need more fence I will definitely go with the 440 fence.”
